Master Legal Agreement

Effective Date: May 19, 2026

I. Preface and Acceptance of Terms

This Master Legal Agreement (the "Agreement") governs the relationship, rights, and obligations between Aetier, an independent non-profit entity ("Aetier", "we", "us"), and any artist, producer, or rights holder ("Artist", "User", "you") who interacts with the aetier.com platform ("Platform") or submits links to musical works ("Submissions") for quality certification ("Certification").

BY ACCESSING THE PLATFORM OR SUBMITTING A STREAMING LINK, YOU UNCONDITIONALLY AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY CEASE USAGE OF THE PLATFORM AND REFRAIN FROM SUBMITTING ANY MATERIAL.

1. Service Scope and Usage Agreement

Aetier operates exclusively as a technological quality label. Our model is built on three foundational pillars:

  1. Non-Profit Status: Aetier does not operate for financial gain. We do not have shareholders; operations are sustained by private endowment.
  2. Zero Fee Architecture: We do not charge fees for submission, auditing, or processing. Our service is 100% free to all accepted artists.
  3. Non-Exclusivity: Certification does not constitute a management or distribution deal. The User retains complete freedom to exploit their work through any external channel.

2. Intellectual Property and Rights Retention

2.1 Artist Ownership

The User retains 100% of their right, title, and interest in and to the submitted musical composition and sound recording (the "Master"). Aetier claims no ownership or royalty participation rights.

2.2 Temporary Usage License

Solely for the purpose of conducting the quality audit, the User grants Aetier a limited, temporary, non-exclusive, world-wide, royalty-free license to analyze and process the Submission. This license terminates immediately upon completion of the audit standard evaluation.

3. Privacy Policy and Data Protocols

Our technological architecture is designed to enforce data privacy as a default state, in alignment with GDPR and international data protection standards.

3.1 Submission and Link Security

We operate under strict data handling protocols. When a music streaming link is submitted, it is processed securely. Aetier does not download, host, mirror, or permanently store the underlying audio assets on its server infrastructure. Following the conclusion of the review cycle:

  • The submitted link is only accessed for active evaluation metrics.
  • Aetier does not retain spectral fingerprints or partial representations of the audio post-evaluation.

3.2 Data Minimization

We only retain minimal metadata required for internal tracking: Artist Name, Song Title, Email, Submission Time, and assigned Status (PENDING, ACCEPTED, REJECTED). This data is encrypted and never shared with third parties.

WE DO NOT COLLECT UNNECESSARY PERSONAL DATA SUCH AS PHONE NUMBERS, ADDRESSES, OR SENSITIVE IDENTIFIERS. WE DO NOT USE TRACKING COOKIES FOR BEHAVIORAL PROFILING OR ADVERTISING PURPOSES.

4. Technical Evaluation Standards

Aetier utilizes specialized technical infrastructure to conduct impartial validation of submitted streaming links.

4.1 Scope of Evaluation

The evaluation system reviews basic audio fidelity parameters, composition continuity, structural metrics, and alignment with modern independent digital distribution parameters.

4.2 Protection of Intellectual Work

YOUR MUSIC LINKS AND ASSOCIATED AUDIO ARE ACCESSED SOLELY FOR QUALITY AUDITING PURPOSES. THEY ARE NEVER USED TO TRAIN, FINE-TUNE, OR DEVELOP ANY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE MODELS, GENERATIVE AUDIO SYSTEMS, OR THIRD-PARTY TECHNOLOGIES.

5. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. In no event shall Aetier be liable for any indirect or incidental damages (including loss of data or anticipated royalties) arising from the use of the Platform.

Certification by Aetier is a technical validation standard and not a guarantee of commercial success.

6. Miscellaneous and Contact

6.1 Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by international digital commerce standards and the laws of the jurisdiction where the sustaining Private Endowment is registered.
